Well, after many emails and talks across Ushuaia it actually turned out to be pretty easy to get a good deal on a ship to Antartica. We ended up spending far more than planned but hey you only live once.
Managed to get the best trip out that takes in the Falkland Islands,(Malvinas to some people), South Georgia and The Antarctic Peninsula. Basically following Sir Ernest Shakletons amazing trip back from the sinking of the Endurance in reverse.
This took place over Christmas and the New Year so was a great place to celebrate both of these occasions.
The whole trip was the best part of our overall journey so far, just outstanding. Amazing amounts of animals, great people on the boat and outstanding scenery everywhere. Will probably be back for more at some stage!!
Best thing is to take a look at the photos and you will see what I mean.

Looks great. I think you captured our antartic trip pretty good with the pictures you posted. I was there and i still get impresses when i look at all the photos from the trip. See you soon B RAD....
