Another back packers haven, lots of rock climbing here, and easy living. Our group all got a bit sick here though so needed to stay a longish time. Celebrated my birthday here on a 48 hour drinking marathon, Lozza and Jacque not too happy with Jason and I.
The range of mountains runs from here, down through Ha Long Bay in Vietnam and then on to Krabbie in Thailand, had a crack at climbing here, may give it another go some place else. Been to the mountains in all three countries now though.
Also took a trip out to Longshen rice terraces where the rice goes on for miles in every direction on the sides of mountains, described as another possible 8th wonder of the world.
