The Start

Finally on the road. Was a bit hectic at the end of work, leaving parties and getting final visas, but in the end all is good.

The 14th was hard work, 3.30AM start from Bournemouth, Dad very kindly got up too and drove us up to Heathrow for an eary flight to Frankfurt, never seen such a crazy queue at an airport, fights were close to breaking out.

Second flight on to St Petersburg, was amused when half the plane clapped upon landing, must have thought we were on Airoflot.

Had a nice suprise when we finally got out of immigration and had our papers stamped as we were picked up due to hostels being changed at the last minute, so free lift into town! Which was nice.
